The right pack is a decision — and we help you make it

Material, format, compliance and cost: guidance from a manufacturer who has to live with the answer too.

Baş Packaging consultant advising a brand on packaging material and EU compliance

Most companies do not need a lecture on packaging; they need someone who can turn a goal into a buildable spec. That is the part we enjoy. And because we manufacture what we recommend, our advice has to survive contact with a real production line — which tends to keep it honest.

Material and format, matched to the product

There is rarely one right answer, but there is usually one right answer for you. We weigh what the pack has to protect, the markets it ships to, the runs you order and the budget you have — then recommend the material and format that fit. Not the most expensive, and not the cheapest one that quietly fails on the line.

Compliance, before it becomes a problem

Selling into Europe means living with rules that change from one country to the next: packaging registration and the Dual System in Germany, the AGEC law and Triman labelling in France, recyclability and overclaiming scrutiny across the EU. We flag what applies early, keep the documentation that proves it, and stop a launch being held at the border over a missing form.

Cost, taken out where it hides

The biggest savings rarely come from a cheaper board. They come from removing weight, redesigning a pack so it ships flat, or replacing a component that the recycling stream rejects. A box that uses ten percent less material, multiplied across a year of orders, moves more than any single negotiation — and it usually costs less to ship, too.

Honest about the trade-offs

Some food and medical applications still need a barrier that no fully recyclable material can match at scale. When that is the case, we say so plainly and work on shrinking the problem rather than pretending it away. You get the cost and the compromises on the table, not buried in a footnote.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to buy from you to get advice?
No. Many clients start with a question, not an order. If we end up producing the pack, all the better — but the guidance comes first and stands on its own.
Can you help us meet EU packaging regulations?
Yes. German VerpackG / LUCID registration, French AGEC / Triman labelling and EU recyclability rules — we flag what applies to your markets and keep the documentation that proves it.
How do you actually lower our packaging cost?
Usually by removing weight, redesigning the pack to ship flat, and cutting components that complicate recycling — not by dropping to a cheaper board that fails on the line.
We already have a pack — can you just review it?
Gladly. Send your current pack and what it has to do, and we will tell you honestly what we would change, what we would leave alone, and where the easy savings are.
